Otters and Oxfordshire
My exhibition for Artweeks this year is, more than ever, an immersion into the beauty of the Oxfordshire countryside.
From birds, blossom and berries to fields of the bluest borage .
From the tiniest of wrens and long tailed tits in the hedgerows to hilltops and woods full of bluebells.
From otters, swans and geese in the streams and kingfishers by the babbling brook to swallows swooping over the moat reflecting the honey-coloured stones of historic Broughton Castle.
Escaping from lockdown into the joy of nature, this year’s exhibition is full of delicate, natural paintings, large and small, watercolour and acrylic, celebrating the wealth of beauty in the local countryside of North Oxfordshire.
Paintings can be viewed in the Artweeks 2021 gallery.
